At times, processes that made sense at the start can, over time, begin to hinder an operation’s ability to stay both safe and efficient. In this case, our client relied on crews to assemble and dismantle scaffolding whenever equipment access was needed inside their facility. The costs of labor and materials continued to climb year after year, and the frequency of maintenance demands only added to the strain. It was clear that a more permanent solution was needed.
When we arrived on-site, we studied the existing scaffolding to capture what worked best. The new system needed to be nimble—able to fit within tight spaces without blocking traffic or limiting access to nearby equipment. It needed to be lightweight, low-profile, and durable enough to withstand a demanding environment.
We proposed an all-aluminum, modular platform system featuring a low-profile support frame that can navigate obstructions, such as scaffolding, while maintaining the rigidity and longevity of a fixed system.
The result has delivered a meaningful bottom-line impact by eliminating recurring labor and assembly costs, while providing our client with a safer, more efficient, and permanent process for accessing their equipment.
